...in the wood and around the heath this afternoon.
We found blackberries
for the season’s first apple-blackberry crumble.
And hiding beneath this enchanting fairy toadstool...
...I found my blogging mojo!
*sigh*
It’s good to be back. More soon!

YAY! I truly wondered how you were. I found a fly agaric when I was about 32 and my uncle was genuinely dumbfounded about how excited I was to see it, I had waited so long. I have posted blackberries today too, Glad you are back. Jo x

Hi there!
ReplyDeleteI had lost you for a bit, but now I found you! Yay! I had a wonder around facebook for the link to your blog. I changed my blog name and lost all of my followers and friends!

Wow what a gorgeous toadstool! and lovely pics :) you've made me long for blackberry and apple crumble, it's my favourite :) xx
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly what I need to go. A couple of weeks ago we found a nice pond / lake near our house, absolutely covered in blackberries. We've been meaning to go back and pick some to make crumble. I just don't have apples :(
ReplyDeleteGlad you're back! My mojo has been absent too but I think it might be back too! Have a lovely week. Bee xx
ReplyDeleteGlad you're back Chrissie, have missed you. Great toadstool. Have a good week.

Lovely to hear from you again and what an amazing toadstool! xx
ReplyDeleteI just love the purples and greens in that first photo - they echo the colours of the apple and blackberry crumble so nicely. I feel like I just got my blogging mojo back too - it's so hard keeping up with posting and reading over the holidays, but it feels great to be back into it now. x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures here, Chrissie! We have a heathland where we walk too, and lots of purple heather which I have always loved. The colours are gorgeous. I've been hoping to spy a red and white spotted toadstool too but so far I haven't......so lovely to see yours here!
ReplyDeleteHappy September!
