The hydrangeas mentioned in my last post were tied with string and hung upside down in
my utility room.
How did they turn out? Well, here is the entry hall mirror
before, notice the old hydrangeas on the little shelf...
It's an old pub mirror I found in my travels, btw... |
...and here are the newly dried hydrangeas:
I also had some old hydrangeas in a jug on the kitchen
corner shelf...
...which have been replaced:
But wait, what’s that wee bit of colour in the corner?
They’re the Rainbow Party pom poms, of course!
Would you take them down? No, me neither. At least not til
Christmas!
Thank you all for your comments and tips on my last post, I
am very grateful indeed!

The hydrangeas look lovely, especially with all of your pieces of china. I would keep the pom poms up too, they certainly add some cheer on these dark days. xx
ReplyDeleteI love hydrangeas too.......I'm going to spray mine with silver paint for a Christmas display
ReplyDeleteThe dried hydrangeas look amazing! I would love to bring them in from my garden but I did so once and discovered a lot of tiny bugs on them. So now I am afraid to do so! The old pub mirror is such a cool find!!! The pom poms look so fun on the wall. Totally colorful!
ReplyDeleteI love the hydrangeas! They look beautiful in both places. Your house is so pretty. I think you should do a virtual tour sometime. :)
ReplyDeleteChrissie I just love the poms poms and must have some now! Fabulous post thanks so much

Beautiful colourful pom poms, just what this dreary weather needs (definitely need to stay up). Will try to dry my Hydrageas and let you know how it goes :) xx

ReplyDeleteWell done, they look fab. And definitely don't take those rainbow pom-poms down - in fact I'm sure you could even find a way to incorporate them in your Chrsitmas decor too! ;-)

ReplyDeleteSo many pretty ways to display your hydrangeas! I wish I had more this year, I really love them, but had to make do with two blooms. And so nice to have a peek at your house, too! x
