  1. Wow, what beautiful photo's!! What is the first flower, its beautiful?! Your garden looks wonderful Chrissie and I can't believe you have woodpeckers, wow! Although the picture of the tits are grainy, you still captured the moment, well done as we all know just how tricky this can be. Your scarf is most certainly growing and so is your wonderful embroidery project of Sam, its looking great. This week my age is growing and I am sure with that and all the cake my belly will grow a little further too :-). xoxo

    1. You are so funny! I decided against a photo of my waistline as I bake and gobble a scrummy crumb cake with my girls...and I couldn't resist posting the grainy pic of the blue tits - when I spotted them I just grabbed the camera and started snapping, the moments are so fleeting. The first flower is a clematis, 'Josephine' - the blossoms are huge and grow no matter how much they are neglected, thankfully, as I ignored them completely during Little Flower's first few summers! cx

    2. Heehee well that makes me feel a little better :-)). I was thinking passionflower so pleased I asked. I can't say that I've seen this clematis before, it's really quite beautiful. Xo

  2. Great woodpecker photo. It's funny watching baby birds being fed, they often look bigger than their parents! xx

    1. So true! I feel for all these mummy and daddy birds, it must be exhausting feeding those giant babies! Cx

  5. I really must get another bird feeder, our last one had an argument with a tree! Those shelves look fabulous, well done! I'm using some of that yarn at the moment it's fab, I've just fallen in love with some Rowan but its waaaaay out of my price bracket, even in the sale! :) x

    1. I am in the same boat with the Rowan - I love the Savannah linen yarn, and I'd love to make the Sioux basket weave poncho, but even with the sale the yarn is at least £60 - I can't justify it with all the other WIPs I have to finish first...but it's an incentive! Cx

  6. Great photos, what lovely colours. You are lucky to see the young woodpecker. A couple of woodpeckers visit my parents garden, but I've never seen a young one before. Sam I am, is really starting to take shape.

Your blooms are beautiful, I just love the bird pics - you were so clever to catch the bluetits - your crochet and 'stitchery' are lovely, and I've had a quick look at your previous post and love your sitting room too. What's there not to love! Thank you so much for sharing!
